MediaPower OCII Multiformat Video Server

OpenClient [OC-II] is an SD/HD standalone video server platform with embedded storage, that can also be connected to any open storage over a simple network. This cost effective digital video server, encodes and decodes high quality multi-format video for broadcast television. The internal storage is provided by a reliable RAID 6 disk array with ten hot-swappable 1TB capacity SATA drives. The key advantage of the OC-II is the flexibility and the scalability of the configuration capable to suit small to large Television environments. The OC-II features software based encoders and decoders and allows control from any standard VDCP Automation Package. Each channel can be controlled independently from the others, including record, play and more specific reset and re-initialization tasks. The OC-II can encode and decode video in a variety of formats, and will create on-the-fly proxy during ingest in Windows™ Media, or QuickTime™ formats.
